After years of constant back and forth with doctors, I got formally diagnosed with Endometriosis and PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Even after the diagnosis, I was still in severe pain every month and even more unanswered questions.

During this journey with my reproductive system, I realized how limited our knowledge about feminine hygiene and sexual health conditions is. I knew other women faced similar struggles and wanted to create something that would help make an impact through education and support.

In turn, this observation led me to the idea of The Lunar Box. After hosting a series of intimate events, we noticed a trend. This knowledge allowed us to bring light and understanding many of the things we grew up being taught by our mothers or other female-figures in our circle, as well as some of the conditions that other women unknowingly struggle with.

After some deep soul-searching, I went back to school in 2017 and formerly launched The Lunar Box in the Spring of 2019 before graduating. Since then, we cannot believe the show of support from family members, friends, and many other women who continuously provide input and their stories.

The Lunar Box is a passion project and has allowed women -myself included- to express their femininity and share their stories. Our goal is, through The Lunar Box movement, bring awareness, support women in need, and help you fully communicate and embrace your femininity; however that may look.
